Privacy Policy

This policy describes how FAINTR at faintr.com handles information when you use its Pokémon GO team tools, accounts, VIP features, and bug reports.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address, account identifier, and profile information supplied by your chosen sign-in provider, such as your name, username, and profile image. FAINTR uses Supabase to manage accounts. Google or Discord handles its own sign-in process; FAINTR does not receive your Google or Discord password.

• Information you save: your display name, Pokémon roster, moves, IVs, notes and other roster fields, saved teams, battle results and dates, battle notes, and team-alert preferences and read status.

• Membership and payment information: identifiers linking your FAINTR account to a Stripe customer and purchase or subscription, your plan, access status, paid-through date, and cancellation status. Stripe collects and processes payment details through its checkout and billing portal. FAINTR's application database does not store your full payment-card number or security code.

• Reports you submit: your report category, title, details, reproduction steps, contact email, relevant page or league, application and data versions, browser/device user-agent information, submission time, and account identifier if signed in. Signed-in reports use your account email.

• Technical information: hosting and account providers process information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP addresses, request information, and authentication events.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, sync your saved information across devices, provide battle statistics and team-change alerts, verify VIP access, manage billing and cancellations, respond to reports and support requests, prevent abuse, operate and secure FAINTR, and recover the service from backups. Team calculations and battle simulations run in your browser; you can use the core team tools without creating an account.

Stripe also records checkout agreement information, including whether you accepted the terms for a completed purchase. FAINTR identifies the applicable terms version in the checkout record for billing support and recordkeeping.

Google and Discord information

FAINTR uses Google and Discord account information for sign-in, account identification, and account-related support. FAINTR does not request access to your Google mail, Drive files, contacts, or calendar, or your Discord messages or server administration. FAINTR does not sell personal information or use Google account information for advertising. Any future change to these uses must be disclosed before that information is used for a new purpose.

Where information is stored and who receives it

Cloudflare hosts the website. Supabase hosts accounts and the application database; the current project is in East US. Google and Discord process sign-in requests under their own policies. Stripe processes payments, billing, refunds, fraud prevention, and any tax information collected at checkout. FAINTR sends Stripe the account identifier and membership choice needed to link payment to the correct account, and an account email when available. GitHub runs data updates and stores encrypted database backups. These providers process information to deliver their services, and information may be processed outside your country. Other trainers cannot read your private roster, saved teams, battle log, or alert preferences through the website. Bug reports are visible to FAINTR administrators. Authorized operators can access backend data to operate and support the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

Browser storage

FAINTR uses browser storage for sign-in sessions, preferences, cached roster/team information, and downloaded game data. The current application does not include advertising trackers or a separate third-party marketing analytics integration. Clearing browser storage removes local copies and may sign you out; it does not delete information saved to your account.

Tracking preferences

FAINTR does not use personal information for cross-site behavioral advertising and does not change its current processing in response to browser Do Not Track signals. FAINTR does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our service providers may collect identifiers and technical information to process sign-in, payments, hosting, and security as described above; their own privacy policies explain their practices.

Security

FAINTR uses HTTPS, account authentication, database access rules that separate trainers' saved data, and encrypted recovery backups. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share sign-in credentials or put sensitive information into notes or reports.

Retention and deletion

Account and saved-game information is retained while your account exists unless you remove it. After your VIP access ends, your saved data remains available for export or deletion. You can delete your account from its account panel; this removes its profile, saved game information, alert preferences, and linked billing records from FAINTR's live database. Cancel any renewing subscription in Manage billing before deleting your account. Deleting your FAINTR account does not itself delete Stripe's transaction records; Stripe and the operator may retain records needed for accounting, refunds, disputes, or legal obligations. Bug reports can remain after account deletion, with their account link removed; report text and contact details may remain. Contact us to request removal of information in a report.

Encrypted database recovery backups are retained for up to 35 days. Information removed from the live database may remain in those backups until they expire. Provider logs and operational records follow the relevant provider's retention settings and requirements.

Your choices

You can use the core tools without signing in, edit or remove saved information, download your account's saved data, sign out, or delete your account. Manage billing lets you cancel a subscription and manage available payment and invoice details. You can also revoke FAINTR's access in your Google or Discord account settings; revoking access there does not itself delete your FAINTR account or cancel its subscription. Children

We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to FAINTR, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
